CLINICS* AND AUDITIONS FOR JUVENILE AND NOVICE TEAMS

JUVENILE: Skaters wishing to audition for the Juvenile Team must be 12 or younger as of July 1, 2008 and have passed or are currently working on the Preliminary Moves in the Field Test.

NOVICE / OPEN JUVENILE: Skaters wishing to audition for the Novice Team must be at least 12 as of July 1, 2008 and have passed or are currently working on the Pre-Juvenile Moves in the Field Test.

*Phoenix Clinics are not required for auditions, but are recommended for those wishing to try out.  The clinics will cover material used during auditions such as:

• Various turns including 3-turns, mohawks also Choctaws, brackets and twizzles

• Spread eagles and Ina Bauers

• Basic spins

• An emphasis on strong stroking!
